AnglerStays — Where Anglers Belong respects your privacy like we respect a secret fishing spot.
1. What we collect
- Account info: name, email, password (encrypted)
- Listing info: lodge photos, location, pricing in USD/EUR/GBP/RON/CAD/AUD/JPY/BRL/NOK/NZD
- Booking info: dates, guest count, payment via Stripe (we never store card numbers)
- Fishing preferences: target species, boat needs (to show relevant lodges)
- Analytics: pages visited, search queries (to improve bite reports)
2. How we use it
To connect anglers with fishing lodges, process bookings via Stripe (10% fee), and sync tackle shop products (8% fee). We use your fishing preferences to show Bass lodges to Bass anglers, not generic hotels.
3. Affiliate tracking
When you click Amazon links (tag anglerstays-20) or Booking.com links, those sites use cookies to track commissions. We earn 3-8% at no extra cost to you. You can disable cookies in your browser.
4. We NEVER sell your data
We don’t sell your email, fishing spots, or booking history. Period. Lodge owners only see what guests share for their stay. Tackle shops only see order info.
5. Your rights (GDPR)
EU anglers can request data export or deletion at admin@anglerstays.com. We comply within 30 days. Data stored on secure servers in EU/US.
